P5L-T is a thrust slide for medium heavy duty linear motion, powered by the P1L cylinder. The max operating pressure is 145 psi. Bore sizes range from 20-100mm. Oversize rod, self-aligning bearing, through hold and T-slot mounting options are available.

Description
    The P5L-T series guided cylinder features the popular P1L round body repairable cylinder and offers a fully featured and highly engineered guided bearing system, creating a guided cylinder suitable for medium heavy duty applications.  The P5L-T, or ""thrust"" version, is designed to extend and retract a load beyond the support point into the work area.  Two parallel precision ground case hardened chrome plated, or stainless steel, support shafts are guided by four linear bushings and incorporated into the body assembly.  The bearings are prelubricated to provide millions of trouble-free cycles. Composite bushings with standard or oversized shafting or linear ball bearings are available.

    The P5L-T series features a machined, anodized one-piece aluminum body with counterbored through holes and T-slots for mounting flexibility. Standard dowel pin holes provide precision mounting for the body and tool plate.  Standard piston wear bands allow the piston rod assembly to ""float"" in the bore thereby eliminating metal-to-metal contact.  The result is dramatically greater cylinder seal life especially when the support shafts deflect under load.  This ensures very long cylinder life with reduced maintenance and downtime.  The P5L-T has a full range of features and options.

        Standard seals: 0°F to 165°F or -17°C to 74°C
        Fluorocarbon seals:  0°F to 250°F or -17°C to 121°C

    • Energy absorption:  bumpers, cushions and shock absorbers
    • Stroke adjustment:  adjustable stop collars and micro adjusters
    • Flow controls:  Presto-lok and NPT
    • Switches and Sensors:  standard magnetic piston, optional reed switches or solid state and proximity sensors. Also available as proximity sensor ready (no sensor included).
    • Filtration requirement: 40 micron filtered, dry air
    • Contaminant-tolerant shaft seals
    • Self-aligning recirculating ball bearings available with carbon or stainless steel shafting
