Full Product Description

The Nichols™ 110A Series is a compact, rugged Low Speed High Torque (LSHT) orbital motor. Thru shafts are available for brakes and encoders. The motor design incorporates a unique solid, one-piece shaft that eliminates the torque link utilized by other orbit type motors. This means greatly reduced internal spline stresses, increasing motor life and the ability to withstand rapid reversals. Long life is particularly important in industrial applications. This straight shaft can also be extended through the rear cover for mounting brakes, encoders or auxiliary drive functions. Power density is the hallmark of this motor. The most compact motor on the market, it can provide 7200 lb-in of torque in 6.6 inches of length.
