Racor ECO Series Disposable Engine Air Filters

Racor ECO Series Disposable Engine Air Filters cover a wide range of air flow rates, mounting options and applications. With its revolutionary design, the completely disposable ECO Series offers faster, safer, more trouble-free service than any other engine air cleaner today.

The ECO Series Disposable Engine Air Filters provide significant improvements in engine protection over conventional systems. When the filter loads with dirt and replacement is required, collected dust and debris stay safely contained inside the disposable housing, eliminating the chance of contaminating the clean side of the air inlet system during air filter service. Since the ECO Series uses no internal air gaskets, you never have to worry about gasket leakage. The outlet simply hooks up to the engine inlet with a rubber connection and clamp, creating a leak-free seal. Air enters either directly through side perforations or by way of beaded inlet tube or with a remote adapter. All ECO series air cleaners incorporate engineered long life, water resistant media.

Consult factory or literature for final determination of part numbers, required air flows, replacement elements, and accessories.

Sizing Air Filtration Needs and Choosing Your Filter:

• Measure available space for air cleaner assembly and mounting brackets for reference
• Choose ECO model:

ECO-SE: SE stands for Small Engine applications. The ECO-SE can be used in-line for a straight through flow or using a side inlet. Flow is outside-in, with a urethane beaded outlet for direct connection to metal tube or turbo. Remote inlet is possible with optional adapter. Air flow 240 to 1180 cfm (7 to 33 m3/min) depending on product selected.

ECO-II: For Small to Medium Engine Applications. Has a metal beaded outlet and perforated side inlet, with option to add a transition housing adapter to attach to a remote inlet. Air flow 820 to 1950 cfm (23 to 55 m3/min) depending on product selected.

ECO-SM: For Scheduled Maintenance programs. This compact filter was designed for additional mounting flexibility and is ideal for retrofit applications. This outside-in flow unit can be mounted in any orientation with a choice of three inlet locations, and features a beaded outlet and water drain holes around the perimeter. Air flow 980 to 1670 cfm (28 to 47 m3/min) depending on product selected.

ECO-LL: Similar in construction to the ECO-SM, the ECO-LL is a Long Life version for applications where the customer wants to get the longest life from their air filter. This outside-in flow unit can be mounted in any orientation with a choice of three inlet locations, and features a beaded outlet and water drain holes around the perimeter. Air flow 645 to 1910 cfm (18 to 54 m3/min) depending on product selected.

ECO-LITE: The original ECO Series product, the ECO-LITE has reversible air flow for flexible mounting options in any orientation. The media is a pleated off-set tapered cone configuration, with beaded metal inlet/outlet port. Air flow 820 to 1900 cfm (23 to 54 m3/min) depending on product selected.

ECO-BC: The ECO-BC is designed for Behind the Cab mounting in a vertical position only. The media configuration is inside out flow from the top, and the housing features a water bleed valve at the bottom. Unit can also be mounted under the hood. Air flow 810 to 1750 cfm (23 to 50 m3/min) depending on product selected.

ECO-CM: Polished stainless steel Cowl Mount design for external mounting on conventional style truck cabs and comes in right and left hand versions. Features clip assembly that requires no tools, bolts or extra gaskets to service the filter element. Air flow 600 to 1200 cfm (17 to 34 m3/min).

• Two (2) Mounting clamps required for each air filter assembly-- See Tech Specifications tab for part numbers
• Determine combustion air requirement of the engine (cfm or m3/min); cfm x 0.028 = m3/min
• Consult information brochure for engine displacement air flow calculations

Benefits of ECO Series Disposable Air Filters:

• Clean, contaminant safe filter changes
• Water resistant filter media
• High efficiency
• Reduces down-time, prolongs engine, filter, and turbocharger life
• Saves on fuel costs
• Compact and easy to install
• High air flow, low pressure differential design
• Flexible horizontal or vertical mounting (depending on product selected)

Applications Include:

• Retrofit
• Stationary engines and generator sets
• Trucks, buses and recreational vehicles
• Material handling equipment
