The 282 Series is a part of the redesign of our medium duty hot shift PTOs that combines the 238 Series with the best components of our current PTOs. The moving parts have been upgraded to withstand up to 300 lbs-ft - intermittent or continuous. The 282 has (9) speed ratios, (18) shift options, and the most popular direct mount and driveshaft outputs. The direct mount options include Wet-Spline technology (optional) for longer PTO and pump shaft life, while the driveshaft outputs include a positive stop to prevent seal damage from driveshaft yokes. The 282 is the most robust medium-duty hot shift PTO on the market and it has raised the bar for PTOs that are used in the Fuel Oil, Towing & Recovery, Aerial, Construction Equipment, and Water Truck markets.
