The PV-1 Series is a 1/8 inch air-operated (pneumatic) miniature diaphragm valve that comes available in 2-way and 3-way configurations. It features a machined modified PTFE body, seat, and diaphragm, which afford high flexural life, excellent leak integrity, and exceptional resistance to corrosion. The valve is ideally suited for low flow and small dose injection in ultra-high purity and aggressive chemical and gas distribution systems, including analytical, DNA sequencing, and semiconductor manufacturing applications.
The PV-1 Series valve’s exacting design controls seat and diaphragm stresses to provide a reliable and maintenance free service life. Its tongue and groove seal ensures a positive diaphragm to body seal, resulting in lower replacement costs and isolation of process media from the actuator. The PV-1 Series actuator itself is highly compact and works on as little as 20 psi for ease of installation and maintenance.
The PV-1 Series is pressure rated from vacuum to 20 psig in both the forwards and backwards direction.
