The Parker Multi-Media Filter traps suspended solids larger than 30 microns to provide additional protection for the system's pre-filters, which can greatly extend pre-filter element life.
These filters work by removing particulate from the feed water stream, before reaching the pre-filter stages, lessening the amount of particulate in the water that reaches the pre-filters. This lessens the strain on the pre-filter, and extends its useful life. These types of filters are ideal for use in waters with high levels of suspended solids, or for when water quality standards are very important.
