The SCP10 intrinsically safe pressure sensor has been specifically developed for use with liquid and gaseous media in hazardous areas, fulfillung the stringent requirements for ATEX Zone 0: II 1 G Ex ia IIC T4 Ga and Zone 1: II 1 G Ex ia IIB T4 Ga or II 2 G Ex ia IIC T4 Gb. This sensor ensures maximum safety in critical environments, making it ideal for applications where reliability is paramount.


Featuring a digitally calibrated piezoresistive stainless steel measuring cell, the SCP10 detects pressures ranging from 1 bar to 1000 bar. The connection to the pins is established through a special bonding process, ensuring stability even under low temperatures, shocks or vibrations. The unique design integrates the measuring cell and the pressure connection into a single piece, elimininating the need for internal seals and weld seams, which helps prevent leaks and material fatigue.


The monolithic construction of the SCP10 means there are no pressure transmission fluids or large pressurized surfaces, making it vacuum-tight and elastomer-free. This design results in low permeability and excellent compatibility with a broad range of media, enhancing its usability across various applications.

The compact stainless steel housing allows for space-saving installation, even in harsh environmental conditions. With a wide range of pressure ranges, output signals, and connectors, the SCP10 is versatile enough for both industrial and mobile applications.
