The filters are made of a specially formulated filter media with cellulose and inorganic filter aids and provide a 150 percent increase in media strength. The filter medium uses mechanical and electrokinetic adsorptive capture mechanisms to remove particles, micro-organisms, colloids, and other contaminants from process streams. The lenticular format allows the filtration process to occur in a totally enclosed environment to eliminate the potential for atmospheric contamination and product loss through leakage.
