Parker's fluorocarbon (FKM, FPM) O-rings are compatible with oils and gases, hydraulic oil and fuels.
Parker’s Fluorocarbon 75 Durometer O-Ring VA075 has excellent compression set resistance coupled with the wide chemical resistance expected for a viton type material
Chemical Resistance:
• Mineral oil and grease
• Nonflammable hydraulic fluids (HFD)
• Silicone oils and greases
• Aliphatic hydrocarbons (propane, butane, natural gas)
• Aromatic hydrocarbons(benzene, toluene)
• Chlorinated hydrocarbons (trichloroethylene and carbon tetrachloride)
• Gasoline
• High vacuum – low permeability
• Ozone, weather, and aging resistance
Not Recommended with:
• Glycol based brake fluids
• Ammonia gas, amines, alkalis
• Superheated steam
• Low molecular weight organic acids (formic and acetic acids)
