The Parker Hannifin altair LD pleated guard filter is designed for coastal and land-based environments. It is designed primarily to be located downstream of the high efficiency filter, but it can also be applied as a pre-filter.

The altair LD pleated guard filter is used to protect the gas turbine when the high efficiency filter is changed out online, minimizing the requirement for turbine shutdown.
