Parker's next generation CK Profile choke and kill rod seal is a proven subsea marine riser solution capable of reliably sealing in deep subsea high pressure, high temperature environments.  Capable of sealing to 20,000 psi, the CK Profile is manufactured from high performance elastomeric materials independently certified to meet the stringent requirements of API 16C Annex B for subsea marine riser applications

The rectangular shaped cross section ensures stability in the gland. A stabilizing lip is located just above the base of the seal, to provide enhanced sealing performance and prevent corrosion from harsh subsea environments.  Non-galling, PEEK-coated stainless steel anti-extrusion springs are molded-in to the heel of the seal to prevent extrusion under high pressure and temperatures.
