Parker's Nitrile rubber N1090-85 (NBR) offers outstanding toughness making it ideal for aggressive dynamic conditions. The 85 durometer material was originally developed for maximum seal life in dry, pneumatic cylinders. N1090 utilizes a combination of carboxylated nitrile rubber for wear resistance with an advanced blend of internal lubricants which bloom to the surface during use, reducing friction.
• Heat resistance — Up to 107°C (225°F)
• Cold flexibility - down to -31°C (-25°F)
Chemical resistance
• Aliphatic hydrocarbons (propane, butane, petroleum oil, mineral oil and grease, diesel fuel, fuel oils) vegetable and mineral oils and greases
• HFA, HFB and HFC hydraulic fluids
• Dilute acids, alkali and salt solutions at low temperatures
• Water (up to 60°C) (140°F)
Used for Extra Low Friction, Internally Lubed, Wear Resistant
