Full Product Description

The Q3 rod seal is a compact seal and consists of a fabric-reinforced backup element with a vulcanized rubber sealing part. Due to their radial preloading, the sealing lips reliably wipe off the liquid film even in low pressure conditions or non-pressurized movement of the rod.
At higher pressures or pressure peaks, the fabric-reinforced backup element prevents gap extrusion at the back of the seal.
As an FKM version the Q3 rod seal can be used as a high-temperature variant for TPU rod seals.
