Strainers purpose is to provide filtration of contaminants in air conditioning and refrigeration systems. They provide free flow with negligible pressure drop. Typically used in the liquid line, they protect the metering device from solid contaminants.

Parker - Sporlan Strainers primary purpose is to provide filtration of solid contaminants in air conditioning and refrigeration systems.  They provide free flow with negligible pressure drop and can be used for a variety of liquids.  Typically, they are used in the liquid line to protect the metering device from solid contaminants.  They are available as a copper strainer or brass strainer.

Features/Benefits:
• Copper Strainers are one piece and available from ¼” to 5/8” OD connections
• Copper Strainers have standard 100 to 140 mesh stainless steel screens available
• The 6000 series strainers are take apart to replace the screen
• The 6000 series strainers are available from 1/4” to 1” FPT connections
• Maximum rated pressure is 500 psi (34.5 bar)
