Product Overview
Description
Parker’s T-Seals were originally developed to replace existing O-ring seals in hydraulic and pneumatic systems. The objective was to preserve the advantages of O-rings in dynamic fluid power applications while ending two of their most serious reliability problems:
    1. Extrusion through the gap between static and dynamic surfaces
    2. Instability in their grooves, which led to spiral or twisting failure

The T-Seal eliminates both of these issues while retaining the space-saving attributes of the compact O-ring groove. Above all, the T-Seal meets or exceeds the O-ring’s outstanding ability to seal at all pressures and temperatures.

Due to fitting into existing grooves, T-Seals can be retrofitted without requiring machining or major modifications of the existing hardware design. This simplifies both field changes and new equipment manufacturing.

The bi-directional seals can be used for rod or piston applications and are specifically engineered for reciprocating applications. The T-Seal product series is available to retrofit in BS-1806 grooves or can be custom-designed for applications and grooves.

    Product benefits:
    • Pressure resistance up to 15,000 psi
    • Temperature resistance up to 600 °F (320 °C)
    • Bi-directional sealing
    • Retrofit in BS-1806 grooves
