Description
    Parker Hannifin is the premier designer of custom S-Seals for Oil & Gas equipment – and the only one to offer S-Seals from 1/2” to 60” in diameter. Utilizing Parker's suite of elastomers certified to API, NORSOK, TOTAL and NACE standards, our engineers can design custom sealing solutions for specific OEM equipment. We can perform failure analysis and validate seal performance using state of the art computer modeling and rigorous bench testing. And Parker can provide “24/7” technical support during critical rig down situations.

    Our custom engineered S-Seal designs feature:
    • Ability to withstand pressures to 20,000 psi and temperatures to 350°F
    • Single-piece design means easier installation and maintenance
    • Integrated anti-extrusion garter springs which eliminate risk of incorrectly installed back-up rings
    • Custom engineered to fit existing grooves
    • Available for both static and dynamic applications

    Size range: ½” to 60” in diameter

    Materials:
    Elastomers. Parker S-Seal elastomers are qualified to API 6A FF/HH (10% sour gas) and meet additional certifications which may include API 16C PR2, NORSOK, TOTAL and NACE TM0192-2003. S-Seals are available in the following materials:
    • N4007A95 HNBR, Temp: -25F / +300F
    • N4031A85 (KA183-85) HNBR, Temp: -50F / +300F
    • N4035A80 HNBR, Temp: -20F / +300F
    • N4039A90 (RH1170-90) HNBR, Temp: -20F / +300F
    • V1238-95 FKM, Temp: -15F / +400F
    • VG109-90 FKM, Temp: -49F / +400F
    • RV1121-90 FKM, Temp: -15F / +400F
    • V1041A85 AFLAS®, Temp: -15F / +450F

    Garter Springs. Available garter spring materials include:
    • PEEK
    • Stainless Steel
    • Inconel® (NACE NR-01-75)
