Parker Chomerics COMBO STRIP® gaskets provide excellent EMI shielding and weather sealing by incorporating knitted wire mesh and resilient elastomers. Wire mesh materials include aluminum, Monel (nickel alloy), and Ferrex (proprietary tin-plated, copper-clad steel) while the elastomer support material options include solid silicone elastomer and closed cell sponge neoprene.

Choose solid silicone elastomer for mating against cast/machined surfaces due to higher force requirements, or closed cell sponge neoprene for mating against sheet metal due to lower force requirements.

COMBO STRIP gaskets feature one side of either a silicone elastomer or closed cell sponge neoprene gasket mated to a single wire mesh gasket. COMBO-2 STRIP features a either a silicone elastomer or closed cell sponge neoprene gasket sandwiched in between two wire mesh gaskets.
