Item Information

Hydraulic fluid should always be filtered before being put into use. Most new fluids (right out of the drum) contain high levels of contamination, including solid particulate matter and water. If the fluid is not polished and/or cleansed before entering the hydraulic circuit, these contaminants can significantly impact system performance and cause damage to critical components, leading to shorter maintenance intervals, added downtime, and increased costs.

The Parker 10MFP Series portable filtration cart / trolley is a CE certified, mobile field service maintenance tool that helps ensure the performance and reliability of heavy equipment by removing free water and contaminants that often make their way into hydraulic fluid during mixing, handling, transfer, and storage. The cart serves as an invaluable preventative treatment device and is ideal for service personnel who are tasked with maintaining heavy equipment or machinery in construction, mining, oil and gas, forestry, marine, and agricultural operations.

Unlike many other competing products on the market, the 10MFP Series filtration cart features two high-capacity Moduflow™ Plus Series filters, which offer high-efficiency filtration and long-term dependability so vital to today’s hydraulic systems. The first stage inlet filter (20 or 40 micron synthetic) captures larger particles, while the second stage outlet filter (2, 5, 10 or 20 micron) removes finer particles. Water is removed by installing Par-Gel elements in the outlet filter, which are made from a polymer that has a very high affinity for free water.

As an option, the 10MFP Series can be fitted with a Parker icountPD online particle detector , which allows the user to continuously monitor contaminant and moisture levels of the hydraulic fluid being transferred or cleaned. The cart / trolley is suitable for use with hydraulic, gear, and lube oil/fluid viscosities below 800 cSt (icountPD recommended viscosity level is 108 cSt).

Benefits:

• Removes free water that often collects in hydraulic tanks and drums. Free water formation occurs when humid air inside a container or tank cools to the point that water condenses out of the air

• Removes solid particulate matter that is introduced during hydraulic fluid transfer, mixing, and storage

• Prevents contamination and ingress of dirt, sand, dust, metal, etc. into hydraulic circuits

• Saves time and money by eliminating unplanned maintenance and unscheduled downtime from system component failure.

• Lengthens time in between required maintenance intervals, reduces operating costs, and extends overall equipment/machine operational life

• Mobile design allows for easy use in the field

• iCountPD online particle counter allows the user to continuously monitor contaminant and moisture levels of the hydraulic fluid being transferred or cleaned

• Dual-filter design offers 2.5 times dirt-holding capacity then competing products on the market

Features:

• Hand and lance assembly included (no additional hardware required for use)

• Top-Accessible service cover for easy changing of elements

• Hoses are flexible for tight spots and are kink-resistant --preventing pump cavitation

• Visual indicator notifies user to change element

• Heavy-duty, rugged frame

• 6 ft. electrical cord with ON/OFF switch. 20 ft. optional electrical cord available (featuring retractable reel and mounted power switch with thermal overload protection)

• Dual, two stage filters provide 2.5 times the dirt-holding capacity of competing products
• Industrial quality gear pump

• Drip tray helps to keep the work area safe and clean

• Industrial brand name 110V/220V AC motor

• Optional Parker icountPD (diagnostic laser detection particle counter)
