STREAMLINE™ is a broad line of non-woven synthetic air filter media offering excellent performance characteristics for a variety of applications.
Applications
•General Ventilation - Central HVAC systems and unitary equipment
•Prefilters for higher-efficiency filters
•V-Bank blanket filter systems
•Drum Filters
•Card cleaning systems
•Primary filtration for the food industry
•Applications where fiber glass is restricted
Full Depth Loading Increases Dust Holding Capacity -
The use of thermally bonded, multi-denier fibers improves the depth loading characteristics of the media by creating the proper balance of fiber density, resistance and compression strength. High compression strength enables the media to maintain its full thickness in operation as resistance rises. Dirt is collected throughout the depth of the media – no face loading. Stratified multi-layered media (DL-Series) further enhance depth loading by incorporating a built in prefilter layer into the fiber arrangement.
Pressure Sensitive Tackifier Enhances Particle Retention -
StreamLine media has a pressure sensitive dry tackifier applied from the air leaving side to hold dirt particles on the fibers. The dry tack retains its adhesive characteristics over the life of the filter to prevent particles from migrating down-stream.
The tackifier is applied deep into the media, not just on the outer surface as with some competitive products. The deeper the adhesive penetrates into the media, the better it retains particles, even at higher velocities or under turbulent conditions.
Soft and Pleasant to Handle -
Polyester media is soft to the touch and easy to handle, yet tough and durable. It is unaffected by moisture and can withstand temperatures from -40oF to 220oF.
