Firesleeve Tape is a high-temperature, silicone rubber tape which is used to seal the ends of Firesleeve and prevent the wicking of fluid into the Firesleeve.
Firesleeve Tape is a high-temperature, silicone rubber tape which is used to seal the ends of Firesleeve and prevent the wicking of fluid into the Firesleeve. The Firesleeve Tape is used as an alternative to sealant, which can be messy and take time to cure. FSC Clamps are still recommended to prevent movement of the Firesleeve. Firesleeve Tape is 1” in width and can withstand temperatures up to 475°F (246°C).
