The P5T series short stroke thrust slide is designed for heavy duty short stroke applications where mounting envelopes are limited and substantial side-loading is present.  Built into the housing are four composite bushings which guide two parallel precision ground case hardened and chrome plated support shafts. This compact housing minimizes overall body length and width, allowing use in very confined spaces. The unitized body integrates a low profile cylinder which contains a wear band and piston magnet. The body comes standard with top ports; rear and side porting is optional.  Also, built into the body are piston bumpers, which reduce noise and dissipate energy, resulting in longer operating life. Standard dowel pin holes provide precision mounting for the body and tool plate.

P5T short stroke thrusters are ideal for conveyor line stops, tamping boxes in packaging applications, presses, parts transfer, machine loading/unloading, clamping, assembly and many other factory automation applications. Available options include linear ball bearings, high load bearing configurations, NPT and BSPP porting, corrosion resistant shafting, and dual tooling plates.
