Full Product Description

The Sporlan Shut-Off Valves (SSOV) were specifically designed to meet the requirements of UL 60335-2-89. The SSOV leverages the robust design of the existing Sporlan solenoid offering, with necessary modifications in order to meet the strict requirements to be used as a safety shut-off valve with A2L refrigerants per UL 60335-2-89. The valves are normally-closed, in which they open when the coil in energized, and closes when de-energized. The valves are brass forged or brass bar stock with extended copper connections. These valves continue to use the proven MKC series Class F coils, which come in multiple voltages and styles.
