• The SciLog® VitaPump™ System provides high-precision metering and documentation of vitamin usage for quality control, compliance and inventory.

• The automated VitaPump™ System includes the SciLog® Smart VitaPump™, scale and printer. The VitaPump™ controller and scale combination provides the high accuracy metering enabling the user to avoid over fortification or under fortification and sends documentation to the printer or PC.

• The VitaPump™ System is pre-tested, self-calibrated and accurate to within 0.5% by volume. It's capable of metering liquids with a maximum viscosity of 2000cP.

• Each system can be remotely controlled using an external relay, operator friendly design and easily integrates with existing systems.

The continuously self-calibrating system has been used for metering of vitamins D, A & D, A & E in batch, as well as continuous milk processing applications. Where the vitamin is injected into processing lines that have pressures up to 100 psi, the rotary piston model is recommended and meets the FDA 3A standards. The piston configuration has wetted parts of stainless steel and ceramic.

• The VitaPump™ System is available with two different gear models: piston (part number: 200-DARY-714Q) or peristaltic (part number: 200-DARY-7181).
