Chelsea® 489 Series Power Take-Off (PTO) fits most manual transmissions such as Eaton Fuller, Mack, Tremec, with an 8-Bolt PTO mounting aperture. The integral 8-bolt housing reduces a potential leak path by removing the need for an adapter plate.
Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Unit (PTO) for manual transmission is specifically designed to reduce mounting time and potential leak paths. The one-piece cast iron PTO housing bolts directly to the 8-Bolt transmission opening but gives the same torque capacity as the 442 Series (250 Lbs-ft). The Chelsea 489 PTO has strong tapered bearings instead of needle bearings for greater load bearing capability. Twenty-seven output options including Chelsea's popular 360° rotatable flange with greaseable shaft to reduce pump shaft spline fretting and corrosion. Eleven internal speed ratios and shift options make this one versatile PTO. Chelsea 489 Mechanical Shift PTO fits on most manual transmissions such as Eaton Endurant, Mack, Tremec and more.
