Parker BV Series Bleed Valves are designed for systems up to 10,000 PSI (689 BAR).These bleed valves are used on other valves or systems such as multi-valve manifolds or gauge/root valves. Functionally, the bleed valve vents the system line pressure either to atmosphere or to a separate containment line when used with the optional barbed vent tube. These compact valves provide a positive stop/vent tube design that prevents the accidental removal of the stem. This safety feature is not found in many common bleed valves.

Parker bleed valves are used whenever an instrument is removed from a system or to assist in the calibration of control devices. The BV Series is also recommended for use in bleeding hydraulic systems and comes in both NPT Male Pipe and SAE ports for installation flexibility.
