Parker’s DC25A Adjustable Flow Divider divides pump hydraulic oil into two separate flows. One, the adjustable controlled flow (pressure compensated), and the other, excess flow which over and above the controlled flow.
Once the controlled flow demand is satisfied, the compensator spool shifts and passes excess flow to port EF. The EF flow can be used in a secondary circuit. Additionally, with the EF port plugged, the DC25A can serve as a 2-port restrictive type pressure compensated flow control.
